Burning sensation

Sergeant

New member
Whenever I squat or deadlift and I wear a belt for max lifts I get a burning feeling right below my waist on the side. It doesn't affect my strength but it sure does bother my head from the pain.
Only happens when I have on a tight belt. Have tried loosening the belt but when the poundage goes up so comes the pain. No belt no burn. I thought the belt might be pinching my skin but this is not the case. Any ideas?

i have had the same thing

i believe that it is the belt pinching the siatic nerve...... it sucks real bad

i think you have the belt too low....... try raising it up some.

at least thats what i did.

i hope it helps because i know how bad that hurts and irritates you.
