has anyone else ever read some of the posts on this site? I made a name on there a long time ago, and just checked it out the other week. Some guy said his routine, and apparently he could do 365x10 incline bench, but can't do weighted dips with 70 pounds... He wanted to know whether or not soreness is an indicator of a good workout. My stats on there say i am like 145 pounds and 5'7. I told him that soreness is not an indicator of a good workout, but rather an indicator of not eating enough and not getting enough rest. I also said i find it hard to believe he's doing that much with incline BB, but can't do dips with 70 pounds added. I asked him if he prioritizes incline BB over other lifts, and asked him what his routine was.
Then, 3 guys who think they're tough shit at over 200 pounds come in and say that i have no right to give him information because of my stats, and that what i am saying is wrong.... I told the dumbasses that if he changes his routine every 2 weeks and switches up lifts, he won't be able to progress as consistently but they insisted he has to "shock" his muscles. I signed out and forgot my account name, or else i would send it to you guys
Just curious if any of you have ever read this site? The information on there is posted mostly by people who weigh 145 and are about 5'7.... It's almost funny to read some of the shit that gets posted on there. I am not saying that everyone on there is stupid, but it's just the fact that most guys have ego's like gladiator... they just can't back up with their lifts. They also instantaneously discredit someone whose stats don't look good and are always competing with other people to lift more.
