label on All Bran w/ X fiber:

serv- 1/2 cup
cal- 50
pro- 3 *
total carbs- 20
sugar- 0
other carbohydrate- 7 *
fiber- 13
fat- 1 *
sat fat- 0
so, doing the math adding * = 50 calories

Since fiber does not really digest, only count 7 carbs toward carb intake, right?

Thanks!

Flex :)

i usually just subttract the calories from fat and protein and whatever i have left is the calories from carbs...

divide that by 4 and you get the grams of carbs...this is useful with lentils, beans, fiber cereals, and cracked what....hope that's useful

oh yeah, if i'm not sure...i make sure my protein, fat, and total caloric intake are accurate so that if i calculate percentage from protein and % from fat, then whatever is left is % from carbs

diamond, you have to stop with the bullshit statements.
"you are wrong. it counts"

Does my approach sound reasonable?
"No it does not"

Will this work?
"No."

At least elaborate a litte, god damn.
