Best protein?

I do my protein like this:

Morning - Optimum On 100% Gold Standard Whey with 2% milk.

I like the taste of optimum - it's cheap - it has some isolates and it has lactase and other digestive enzymes, no fructose/sugar. I've used rocky road, chocolate and vanilla - all very good - but beware of cookies and cream - it has fructose and the cookie part contains iron - although I assume it's trace amounts, but it's listed.

Eggs - lean meats - tuna/salmon throughout the day

Post Workout - Optimum On 100% Gold Standard Whey

Bedtime - Optimum 100% casein with 2% milk before bed - so hopefully the casein stays in the system throughout the night.

Anyway - I've tried a few caseins but Optimum for me tastes the best, disolves the best and has the most to offer while at my price point.

Have to agree here - ON tastes the best with good ratios, price is fairly good compared to others that taste like ass.

what are your guys thoughts on Nito-Tech protein supplements...?

i had good results with this stuff 2 years ago when i was hitting it hard... i have a hard time drinking the stuff if it tastes like the crack of a fat womans ass after she chased down a burger... so taste is important to me... :D

Assuming taste isn't an issue, then buying a commercial powder is just a waste of money. Magical "proprietary" blends are marketing BS and as long as your protein source is dairy or egg you're getting a "perfect" protein with a score 1.0 on the PCDAAS, which the generally accepted standard for protein quality. I prefer to purchase a bulk milk isolate and I've posted the reasons on multiple threads. If you go to the manufacturer you can get a high quality milk isolate for under $4.00 a pound.
