51-year old guy that benches 265 at 170 bodyweight in my gym follows this routine. He maxes every workout to "see where he is at." Does nothing other than max to improve hsi bench. He is newly back at it so it has been going up for him slowly (just gaining old ground I think). TRIED to enlighten him today on a different program but he would have none of it. I only offered when he needed a spot and told me of his goal (315 by summers end) and his routine.
