Bench Press Shirt arm measurement

Is a 2.5 inch difference in the arm measurement for a bench shirt compared to a flexed arm up to the side make sense.

My arm was 18.5 inches flexed and measured in a bicep pose today. A few minutes later when it was hanging low and unflexed it measured only 16inches.

Is this normal. I could use some advice and I was wondering if this is normal before I order the shirt. Thanks

That is a little bit more of a variance than I get, but then again I have absolutely pitiful biceps. My cold hanging arm measurement is also 16 inches, and flexed is 18 inches hot.

When ordering a shirt, make sure you give them the cold hanging measurement, or maybe a half inch less than that, same with chest and shoulders, give them just an inch or two lower measurements than your actual cold measurements.

Good luck,

B.

Dude when my arm is relaxed (un flexed) its 18and change, flexed its 19 1/2 i wear my shirts 17 and 171/2. You gotta squeeze into that bitch! That way they dont move at all. I would say dedulct 1/2 or get it exact relaxed.
