must have been a lot of work for you to do the whole house...a new baby huh? xmas.....wow well congrats on that

Yes it was. I worked 7 days a week on it non stop for 10 months from begining to end as soon as we bought it. I demolished everything, it took SEVEN 30 yard containers to haul off the garbage. It's pretty much a brand new house. I even replaced the floor BEAMS, not just the plywood but the beams that make the floor, because I had small rooms and wanted it opened up to a big space and the beams that were there did'nt hold the weight. At one point you could stand in the basement and see the attic. there were no floors. lol We actually did that one floor at a time. Good times.

We bought the house on the last day of 1999 December 31. and moved in on Thanksgiving of 2000. We payed rent AND mortgage for the whole ten months till I finished. I stayed at my MIL's house next door while building and only went back to my apartment to PAY RENT to my landlord! lol I'm glad that's over.

I could'nt really move out because of all my furniture was there. I kept saying to myself "Another couple of months..."

This is the other room in the basement. The "dungeon" lol @ carpeted dungeon.

Nice work. You should be proud of what you accomplished. It looks great!

Yeah, that's why I've posted these pics over and over... lol I know it's lame, but I don't care, I AM proud. Especially when you do the work yourself.
