To me it’s all about what you want more. It’s understandable to want to go hang out with people and do so but I eat a heavy healthy meal right before walking out the door any then when I get there I’m stuffed so I don’t eat a lot
Fasting can be a great tool but you don't have to jump right into a 5 day fast. Do something like eating in a 4-5 hour window each day and fast the rest. That works great for me.
