Question about certain scenes in porn movies

For you guys that would like to try being in porn, here's a question for you. I've seen some straight porn movies where a guy just jacks off while watching another person or couple having sex. Would you guys ever do a scene like this? Here's some of the movies:

1. Kelly the Coed #7: A hot nude guy jacks off while watching a woman masturbating. He ends up shooting his load all over his chest and stomach.

2. Up Your Ass #3: A guy watches his wife getting fucked by another guy, the whole time he is sitting there naked and jacking off to the show.

None of these guys were pros, I've never seen them in any other movies. I guess it was their one time chance of getting off in front of the camera. I don't really understand why a director would put a scene like this in a porn, and I don't really understand why a newbie amateur guy would agree to just masturbate.
