Abs --Suggestions

HulkRow

New member
ive been doing : 200 leg raises
100 Side bends
50 Sit ups

Ive been doing it for a while with good results but now i want to try something different--got any suggestions (note i do this 5 days a week)

thanks

I can see them I wanna get them more defined...gotta get that b/f down i know...but hey im going for mass so what should i do?

all the reps / sets u are doing will only burn prescious cals.
if u want mass on your abs then u need to use weight . try taking like fifty +/- pounds and doing like 3 sets of crunches for like 6-8 reps

There was an ab question here recently. I can't remember who it was who posted this exercise but I've been trying it myself and it's great.

The poster said he finds an incline board, hooks his feet and then lowers himself to the point where his abs are taking the strain and then holds for a count of 5. Then he comes up to a count of 5 and so on - adding weight when he could get to 5 x 5.

Buddy - whoever you are, thank you. I thought I had strong abs until I tried this. You've just given my stomach workouts an entirely new lease on life. I can't ait to see what these will have done for me after 6 weeks.

Thanks again

When I bulk I don't work on abs to often. Diamond's right your Diet and Genetics have a ton to do with you abs.

Standing Pull Down abs, roman chair sit ups, spread eagle situps...anything full range.

Huh? You just anchor your feet to an end of the squat or power rack...and do full range situps. lol....

Crunches...overrated.

That was me, they've done wonders for my abs, both in strength and appearance, hope they work for you.
