5x5 Supersets

Guys I have been using 5x5 training for the last 3 weeks am loving it!!

I have been reading about needsize supersetting in his training, has anyone got examples of where and when they superset etc etc

I was previousl doing OTC(optermised volume training) featuring supersets for all 10 sets of each body part - I quite like the routine

I super occassional between bi's and tri's.

I'll do a set of curls... then hammer out a set of skull crushers.

I would superset more... but I split my routine into 5 days... and there really isn't a need or opportunity for it.

I mostly use supersetting as a "time saver." Not a workout technique. If I'm crunched on time because of travel or meetings... I can squeeze back and chest day together.

Then I do a set of weighted dips for chest... then hit weighted pullups.

nice one Sofa - I am using a 4 day split at the moment and to be honest I find supersets a good way of increasing my intentsity and keeping me leaner(you probably dont need feel that need)

Anyone else with any tips

Cheers

I've been using the Optimized volume training and like it. Getting stronger as well as adding some size, I use it for Chest, back, tris, bis, shoulders.

I superset my tri/bi 5x5 for the standing curl and closegrip bench. Needsize mentioned that he supersetted deadlifts (or warmups at least) with military press for back/shoulder day if you have that as a day.
