I would say that having your arms in the clean position is the better option over arms crossed.
With crossed arms you can use more weight, but you are also able to dip forward when you start getting to your limits with weight. This isn't good since one of the best reasons to front squat is that it promotes core stability and quad strength. By crossing your arms and allowing your body to bend at the waist you are turning it more into a back squat.

Most people can handle more weight with clean grip but I find I get more sore quads from arms crossed.

Wow awesome everyone for the feedback I appreciate it! I prefer the Clean grip, arms crossed feels funny to me. I'll try both next time

Push day
Nothing great here
had a hard day at work pretty physical but I gave a solid effort
Incline DB
65x15x15
85x12
100x6x5
Flat bench
225x5x5x5x5
Side laterals ( many)
Dbshoulder press
65x8x8x5x5
That's all I really did. Was going to add tris but my shoulders and arms are well worked from sanding half a day today prepping floors !!

Ill try not to, what I'll just have to do is make up for it with a killer workout tonight . I think I'm going to squat again. The 405 for 1 is lingering near and I think I can almost attain it.

If you hit 365x5 you can hit 405 no prob..
