the diet works and if you do it right its amazing...if you do the regular 5 day keto 2 day carb up or 6 day keto 1 day carb up...(carb day should be TONS of carbs LOW fat and high protein) you will have the needed energy in the gym..the acutual workout week is only 3 days...so mon/tue/wed...by tuesday you still have circulating glucose from the carb up, by wednesday you should be pretty much depleted again if you worked out hard enough..........thur, fri, sat and sun..you do no weights so no need to worry about the lack of muscle gycogen and subesquent catabolic state you *may* be in (i say may because some people say ketones and/or ketosis is anticataboic in and of itself)... my experience with the carb up was.. for 2 days after carb up i was still having INSANE pumps and strength in the gym.. i even set personal bests in the gym with different lifts...all on low carbs and at 7am in the morning...the carb up is insane, and i used to always get psyched for the workout the day after carb up...usually did chest, back and tris that day.
oh and tuesday was shldrs and tris. wed was legs.
