Yea, me and my bro shave an ass load of them. I still shaved them for ngrs even when I wasn't playing. It's really pretty simple if you can pop the end cap off. I actually have a light hone I made to do it with. Made it out of a long cylinder bore. We learned that if you shave em and spray some adhesive inside them they stay extremely hot longer.
