1. Determine what competition u are doing -- BB and / or figure? Figure only
-- I'm not sure but I personally think that might be biting too much off for your first show and also you are now 6 weeks out.
2. If bb -- do you have all your mandatory posing worked on, music selected, posing routine started? Nope -- figure only this round
3. If bb - you need a plain 2 piece suit for the AM show & you could use your fancy 2piece for figure for the nite show. No jewelry or anything for BB. (Unlike figure..)
4. Make sure you have your suits and whatever so you have all the stuff you need if decide to do that show and the only thing left to question is your physical prep.
5. Schedule your time to get there. A 5 hr drive w/ a 7 am competitors' meeting the mornign of the show can suck. (Granted you probably won't sleep much anyway before the show. If you can, do your travel on Thurs instead of Fri. Also plan how you are goign to schedule in all your protan layers. Bring all your food with you or find out what resources you have around the show site. One sure thing that can save u, for ex if the hotel u are stayign at doesn't have a microwave, get a George Foreman grill for your protein. Also determine what you are going to use for your carb up so you can have it all there with you. I will talk to Fred about the food next meeting
