Would this be a waste of R-ALA?

If one were to go out and have a MAJOR cheat night that includes tons of sugary stuff, like candy bars/and or cake (just an example). Would R-ALA cover the sweetness, equal to about say, 5 or 6 candy bars (5 or 6 pills)?

What would happen, would I be okay or am I permanently damaged?
I did a basic calculation as to the amount of sugar I'd be consuming for dessert (Thanksgiving and all, being young, and..well..damn, I just want to enjoy my holiday! :p ) and that's what it would come out to. Also, I'd take them RIGHT prior and during the meal. I know 15 minutes wait is expected, but I wouldn't be able to pull it off without fam being suspicious. They'll think I'm taking drugs (they are insane, it has happened before) and the entire night will be ruined. So, I'd just sneak them in during. Anyhow, advice? :Chef: :chomp: :mix:

"permanently damaged"?? You're kidding right? You can always come back from one day's eating or even a few days. R-ala helps even out the sugar spike but its like it negates the calories you are consuming. You can enjoy your holidays but not gorging on junk. Better to just stay even w/ your consumption. Assume you are goign to go off your diet or whatever for a few days, be happy w/ it and then get back on.

;) Thank you.

One day, however indulgent, will never "ruin" something. You might feel like crap for a couple days, but ONE DAY does not cause permanent damage to ANYTHING.

loading up on glucorell and/or sesamax is quite effective in the "excess" cheat overfeed situation.

with respect to glucorell taking before (most of it), during(1) and at the end(1) of your "debauchery" will probably be most effective.

good to know ;)

:chomp:

Macro, for those that do not know, how about those that will be consuming alcohol while taking increased amounts of glucorell?

My trainer and I had a talk today.... And well, I'll be posting diff things in diff posts. ;)

He said that one needs some sugar in the diet in order to keep your insulin and glycogen levels where they should be (optimal levels). What?!

I have mastered this skill quite well. ;)

Looking forward to trying the sesamax.

Be aware of those who claim to know the answers to everything... although, I would Love to see him go at it with Ulter & marco, amongst others on this board ;) ...

Well note he says "some" sugar. Just like you need "some" sodium in your system.

Although I challenge anyone to have a completely "sugar-free" existence.

I think the bottom line is still "moderation in everything".
