why do i get dizzy and sick when i lift?

Hey, thanks for all the help! When I worked out today, I put more of an effort on concentrating on my breathing, and it really did help alot! I always knew that your supposed to breath properly when lifting, but I just took it for granted........hell, I'm also actually able to lift more weight for 2-3 more reps than before too.

Something Else you can try

I have had the same dizziness problem before. For some people that can be from a lack of oxygen content in the blood. Breathing right is of course necessary. I found that vitamin E helped. It is supposed to help to get oxygen into the blood I believe. I just kept upping the dose until I could feel a difference.

the breathing would be my first guess but you may also wish to examine your diet. Has anything changed, maybe you need to watch your vitamin intake, you could be getting far too little or in some cases far too much of a certain vitamin or mineral. That has been known to cause toxidity in the bloodstream making your body process oxygen less efficiently.
