Who Has Made Gains From DC Training?

I'm at week 6 of my Test and Deca cycle and I need a change in my workout. My strength is slightly increasing, but I'm at a sticking point as far as gaining in size.

I've been training for 15 years and have always use a similar workout routine only with few changes here and there. I now feel that I need to take my training to the next level and I would like to change to DC training.

How many of you Bros have used DC training?

I do have a few questions:

1. How long did it take for you to notice results in both size and strength?

2. Should I expect a decrease in strength before I see an increase? The reason I ask this is because I have never worked a muscle group more than once per week.

3. In the past I have used a slightly higher volume in my sets. This has actually given me a more defined look. I have very good definition in my back, traps, delts, and tri. By changing to DC Training am I going to loose this definition?

1. Depends on the person
2. NO!
3. Possibly. Its more for offseason BUT in general is about your eating and cardio.

the biggest part of dc is the diet. are you planning on following his recommendations? he is a high protein advocate and high calories. if youre not doing that with the training, its not as effective.

as far as the training, its good. the stretches are great, take alittle time to get used to, and its a good routine. if you are into bber type training, this isnt the best program.

The diet also dependws on where the person is in the training etc. Someone in prep for a show would obviously be eating differently.

1. Right away.

2. No. Though DC works each bodypart twice in 8 days, you are doing significantly less volume (one heavy working set per bodypart). If you haven't understood this from reading about DC yet, you need to read a LOT more. Intensemuscle.com is the place to find ALL the correct info on DC.

3. No dude. That's all about diet. Even though DC advocates BIG eating to gain, you can take the steps to control fat gains.

A lot of guys who compete train DC. Dave Henry is probably the most famous. As far as it being offseason training...well, it's hard to go 110% balls to the wall heavy ass lifting when you're dieting for a show. Of course training will have to change.

One last thing...if you want to get big, you might have to put on a little fat in the process. Hard to get huge and stay cut!

I gained doing DC. Make sure you know what your doing though. I killed my CNS because I thought I was ready to do this training but was not. I took a lot of things from it though. I love the stretches and continue to use those in my current training. Intensemuscle is a great site as well.
