When cycling, optimal meal frequency?

Just how often should one eat when on cycle? I hear the norm being ever 2.5 to 3 hours, but would every 1.5 hours be a waste? Lets say with about 30-60g of protein with each meal? What is the highest amount of protein some of you consume in one meal?

40MG protein each meal x every 3 hours for a bulking cycle.

For a cutter = 40MG every meal x every 4-6 hours.

Hope this helps.

Lol at the lil Izzy remark. You don't think 40gm is a little on the low side when bulking?

Optimally your body can take in around 40MG per meal regardless of what type of cycle you're on.

I suppose if you're "worried" about the shit you could go upwards of 50-60MG, but that's on you.

I don't agree for two reasons.
1st, I don't believe that a guy's body who weighs 170lbs can consume as much protein as someone who weighs 250lbs.

2nd, when you are on a cycle there is greater protein synthesis, therefore your body can consume more protein effectively with less waste.

no hard facts here, just my opinion.

Thats along the lines of what I was thinking.....and no I don't mind the shits, lol. One good toilet session each morning does me good for the entire day!

i eat every 2-3 hours and up to 50 grams protein at a time an have had great results just keep your meals clean and frequent and you will be ok

And you're right. It's really impossible to say how much protein is too much per meal. Some absorb more then others, or i should say at a faster rate then others, it varies too much to say.

well first off 40 mg is too low. I assume you meant grams. Second I would eat just as often or even more often on a cutting cycle because those frequent meals really speed up your metabolism I would just make the meals smaller. Spread 200g of protein every 3 hours bulking or cutting and lower the cals within your carbs and fats. This is what's worked for me. You need to keep the protein up when lowering your cals to cut or you're just not going to hold onto enough muscle. But, as I said that is what's worked for me. You've got to experiment as everybody is different.

for me its a meal every 3 hours regardless of cutting or bulking.
the amount of protien is the same too.

its the carb/fat ratios that differ with each cycle.

while cutting, carbs are at a minimal while fat intake is average.

while bulking, carbs are high while fat intake is low.
