What's The Best Type Of Cardio For Losing Bodyfat???

i don't think it matters what sort of machine you use, but i like the elliptical personally because it is easy on the joints and it burns calories like a muthafucka. also i can easily last 30 min on an ellptical without wanting to hop off.-Josh
 
jump rope first thing in the morning helped me get down to 8% from 18%. 10 weeks is all it took and i did it 3-4 times aweek.
 
Say you burn 600cals biking, 600 on an eliptical, or 600 running.

Your body doesn't know the difference.

I would prefer an eliptical because its very easy on the joints.

Nelson hit the nail on the head... again. Cardio doesn't magically burn fat while weights just build muscle. Intensity in the gym with 30 seconds rest in between sets will get you there. If you want to lose fat stay away from biceps/triceps. Concentrate on chest, back, and legs and watch the pounds disappear. If your set on cardio, try jumping rope like satch said, or play basketball. Running on a treadmill, regardless of results has never appealed to me in the least.
 
I swim a few times a week and damn it wears me out I love it. When I start trying to get lean I will swim probably 4-5 times a week.

The best way to burn bodyfat is to take (220-Age) X .75 = Heart Beat range for fat burning. Stay in that general area an you burn fat. Also, AM cardio on an empty stomach is best.

And for those that say cardio is stupid, they are one of these four:
1. Fat and don't give a shit.
2. Super skinny and in their case it is stupid.
3. Genetically Gifted.
4. Meticulous with their diets.
 
I'm gonna have to say short bouts (15-20 minutes) of very high intensity cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is the absolute best way to lose fat quickly. Based on my experience and some friends that I train with.

Anyone that thinks plodding along at 3.5 mph on a treadmill is gonna make a difference is wrong...its all about busting your ass to get results.
 
The BEST cardio for losing fat? Mouth, tongue, esophagus, and gut training. The kind where you chew, swallow, and digest a healthy diet consisting of the proper nutrient ratios.
 
I think HIIT cardio is by far the best way to do it. You dont get bored as hell strolling around for 40 minutes on a treadmill. You get in warm up and bust your ass for 15 minutes on an interval and your done. Its time efficient and I feel it is more effective for burning fat.
