What's The Best Type Of Cardio For Losing Bodyfat???

any cardio is good to reduce fat gain or increase fat loss. That's it...along with a good diet and weight training. There is no argument. When on cycle...whether I'm bulking or cutting I do as much cardio as possible. If AAS are anti-catabolic...then the only fuel I can possibly be burning during cardio is fat and/or carbs. I still gain lean mass easily. When natural...I either reduce cardio or drink a whey protein shake prior to cardio.

that is utter nonsense! Are you listening to what you are saying? burning calories on a treadmill does not make a difference? All these things workit is simply a matter of intensity, length of exercise, fasted state. You can switch all those variables around but ultimately you are burning calories and that means losing weight if your diet is correct. different folks prefer different methods but that is what is is, a preference. As for the lifting weights method, i already lift weights and want to burn MORE calories, i hope nelson is not suggesting that i overtrain to accomplish this. If you want to control your weight with weight training and diet alone, no probem, that is your preference. Some of us chose to add additional exercise to speed up the process as well as to reap the additional benefits.

I'm gonna have to say short bouts (15-20 minutes) of very high intensity cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is the absolute best way to lose fat quickly. Based on my experience and some friends that I train with.

Anyone that thinks plodding along at 3.5 mph on a treadmill is gonna make a difference is wrong...its all about busting your ass to get results.

i'd like to see the reference to that please. thanks,

Thanks. I'm not knocking cardiopulmonary training all together mind you, but it certainly ain't the hot ticket for fat loss. In fact, not long after cardio really starts to spark fatty acid metabolism, your body begins to burn protein at a similar rate!

J... I totally agree. I was one of these hard heads who never did cardio. I would always bust my ass in the gym working with weights. I always walk out drenched with sweat, but I always had trouble losing that layer of abdominal fat. I have tried adjusting my diet, etc... Then I started doing moring cardio 6 times a week in a fasted state and voila! fat is going, going gone. I could have turned to an even more Draconion diet or turned to ECA's 3 times a day or clen and T-3, but I actually like the low intensity cardio in the AM and actually look forward to it when I awake. The key to doing it 6 times a week is to keep it low intensity and stay in your fat burning range. This will allow you to build and keep your muscle while burning fat.

Cardio works for me.

As for Arnold never on a treadmill.... why would you use a treadmill when you can take a jog on the beach?
