I left the gym feeling very unsatisfied with my workout today. I can't understand it. Been out of the gym for two days, slept well last night, ate well today, was in a good mood...ready for a great workout. I decided to up my weights and drop reps down to the 6-8 range. After a warm up and stretch I grab the 70lb dumb bells, assume the position, and proceed to struggle to push out 3 or 4 shitty decline presses...WTF? Okay...drop down to the usual 55s which I have recently been getting 12-15 good reps on the first set and 9-10 by the third. Well, I fight and struggle to get 7 or 8 with arms shaking and everything...WTF? The rest of my chest movements went along similar lines...felt like I was trying to bench a Yugo. My tricept work was decent...mostly cause i was so pissed at how poor my chest work went. I guess this is just the way it goes some days? Does something like this happen to you all once in a while?
