What diet next? Anyone?

I am very frustrated at trying different diets.. ive been doing a mostly animalbolic type diet for the past four months.. in the beggining i had great results in the gym and also great results loosing weight and i was very very happy. I went from 225 39" waist to 208 36" waist.. i just cant seem to get past this 36" mark. The animalbolic diet is somewhat like the tkd except carbs are also eaten after the workout to supposedly spike insulin and promote growth after workout.. according to the author almost 80% of all growth/recovery occurs in the few hours after the workout. My question is what diet should i do next? Maybe this diet worked to get me to where i am but im thinking i might need a change to take it further? I was thinking about a TKD or a CKD? but i am also thinking about following a more normal split diet like xx/xx/xx including carbs 6 meals a day.. which diet would you reccomend for someone in my situation?

Considering you HAD carbs, you might not wanna jump into the keto wagon just yet.
40-30-30 diets work just as fine as keto diet (but you wont have that HUGE initial water loss, although you will have some). For the keto you might lose 11 pounds in the first two weeks, but its mostly water.

40-30-30 is where I would go.
Although if you like fats more than carbs, obviously jump into keto - but not so abruptly - slightly lower your carbs every week in case youre one of those ppl that reacts badly to jumping straight into keto.

Peace

You know, I really need to get my lazy butt of the chair and write about protein cycling. But, that day will come, when I find a little time.

Meanwhile, these are the diet I would recommend:
(protein/carbs/fat)
50/20/30
or
50/30/20

You can also try what blood_drinker suggested, 40/30/30 it's an Isocaloric. Very simple to do.

Yes, CKD would be a good solution to your problem, yet it all depends on you if you want to run it. Check out my CKD manual (and TKD manual) in the News/Articles section of EliteFitness.

P.S. a good rule of thumb for your daily calories is BMR=weight x 12
Mr.X

Excuse the basic question but if BMR=weigth x 12 then am i supposed to cut the bmr by 500 calories in order to be in a position to loose weight? (i understand there are other factors invloved, this a BMR focused question only)

Thanks for all Mr. X
