For fun, that is...not study books.

Now I am going through the Sookie Stackhouse novels - the True Blood series books. I needed something to let my brain not work for a change.

Then I want to see those Dresden Files series.

I just finished "God and his Demons". It was good if you have some background or knowledge of christianity; kind of necessary otherwise I think it would be torture to read it. Need to go to barnes and noble or the library later to pick up another read. It's been a while since I have read any fiction.

hhmmmmm.....Is it one of those that are trying to "enforce" Christianity or something else? It sounds interesting, even though I have stopped reading books that focus on unveiling the religion ;)

The outliers... Gladwell.
Tipping Point Guru, he fuses social psychology to reveal that genius and success, are not based on the crude explations of the sole narrative of hard work and perseverance. Timing, Cultural Needs, and the Network that supported the growth of that person.
For example 90% of professional hockey players are born in January, February, and March. Strange Patterns, like a 9 year stretch of births that contain the richest people in America. How cultural farming work ethics in the Qing dynasty helps explain why the Chinese excel in Math, and why the US students lag behind... fucking awesome book.
That, and the midamerican Truckdriver Singles Guide... j/k.

No definetly not trying to "enforce" Christianity...more of a book that looks at it as it is and slams the hell out of it. Similar to "Why religion poisons everything" except it focuses solely on christianity throughout time.

So maybe not your cup of tea.
