Yup you nailed it.
People are incredibly strong, and resilient when placed in difficult situations. I find that really inspiring, and it it helps me to overcome mental weakness.

I read that years ago.
And saw the movie.
Both great.

Finished Papillon-was really good.

Now I'm reading Ishmael by Daniel Quinn
and have a hold at the library on a book by Elizabeth Badinter- Mother Love-Myth and Reality : Motherhood in Modern History.

Ishmael is pretty good, but I'm not really buying into the idea of New Tribalism. Don't see it happening. But the book is interesting anyway.
