Water Retention and puffy nips.

Hey guys how's it going. I've noticed since about March of 08 that my nipples are somewhat puffy. I'm turning 17 tomorrow...so Yea. Also my right one puffs out more. Like the skin comes out a little more. But I can only notice it...but not in the mirror. Just when i look down. Also when it is humid out it seems like they get much more pronounced not terrible though. And when it is around 80-90 degress out even with very low humidity they look Fine. Just a little puffy. I was wondering if it's just some water retention. I have a a little fat under each nipple....not even the size of the nipple hardly. But they don't hurt at all. Might i add they dont get hard when the humidity is low...just MUCH less puffy. And they look perfect when they are hard. Alright sorry for rambling...And thoughts would be nice!!!

Puffy nips in teenagers is very common. don't worry about it.

yea but is it just your actual nipple (areola) that's puffy...or does the skin around your areola puff out too? becuase really mine are just the nipple not the skin anymore! Also i have been eating 3 small meals a day along with a shake after my 3 pm workout. And i have lost 5 pounds and not lost any of my lifts/strength...I'm lifting more now. my bf must be getting lower hopefully : ) And as an effect the little deposits under my nipples are getting smaller and thinner!

It's getting better because at your age, your hormones in your body are starting to regulate more and be balanced. Less estrogen in the body.

at your age I would see a doctor right now.
you could still get insurance to cover it
if deemed gyno by puberty. it wont go away, if it
bothers you take care of it.
