First of all Thanks for EVERYONE`S advice, it really helped/ motivated me. Been reading the boards a long time. 5x5 is great. OK now I`m coming off many severe injuries. Can`t do a lot of movements but just started slowly again...

I seem to get pumped very easily and VERY sore on very few sets (now I`m down to like 3 sets per bodypart for workouts!) I`m currently doing half body Monday the other half Wed then Friday back to First half. Then the next monday I do the opposite for the week. So I`m working everything 3 times in 2 weeks.

I hate to make this post too long but feel it`s important to note I`ve been lifting many years but plagued by many injuries due to improper technics such as forced reps on EVERY set of EVERY exercise of EVERY workout for years. just to name one. NOI DID`NT GROW MUCH. lol And I was ALWAYS overtrained and undernourished.
Any thoughts on if this type of training could have done me in? Physically permanently? Thank You

I doubt it, the tendons/ligaments will heal, keep icing and heatin' the joints, and allow yourself to recover through AR and rehab. Eat healthy, rest as much as you can, and progress slowly, to be cautious. You'll be fine. I doubt anything's permenant.

Maybe more detail of your injuries can help us to judge that, though.

Severe back pain 2 herniated disks in upper back 2 herniated disks in lower back Sciatica causing pain in leg from glutes to calf ankle area.
Not doing deadlifts anymore (loved em) or squats/legs not even doing bent rows!

I`m 6ft. 2.5" 230 now, was 250 and on a roll doing 5x5 old school THANKS Corn! Eating a ton with lots of protein and also creatine.

My question really is if My CNS is damaged or Can it get damaged permanently causing me to react this way to few sets? or am I just very unconditioned? I`ve pretty much been bed ridden for 2-3 months. till last week.

I would think you just need to build back up again, to where you were. I'm not positive on this, but I don't think the CNS can be damaged permenantly. Ask CoolColJ and Suston though.
