trouble sleeping when work out hard?!?! why???

This has happened to me before when I hit the gym extra hard.

For the past three weeks, I have been hitting the gym HARD. I have certain goals that I want to attain by the summer so it is becoming a HUGE part of my life again.

Diet and exercise are normal.

I asked my friend this same question and he said it was because my body is producing more ATP (energy) to create muscle....which makes sense to me. ???

Also, is that why BBs, for example, take GHB to help them sleep???

Yes. When BB take some kind of ECA stack and are on the juice and work out in the evening they have hard time sleeping. Its like we can keep going like the energizer bunny and nothhing can stop us. So we take G to induse a deep state of sleep of which is sometimes hard to acquire on a cycle. But usually the hard to sleep nights happen when they 1st start on a cycle and its getting in their system. And some also take G because they believe that it increase natural GH levels while you're asleep. I know 1 thing though. If you get a good mix of G you wake up feeling like a MILLION BUCKS! :p

yeah but being hooked on G isn't very fun either.
 
Many football players used to take G to get the feeling of being drunk without the after effects. But they say it's supposed to rebuild your muscles better after a workout during because your insuch a deep state of sleep. But it's not good to take all of the time. I don't recommend it at all.

Usually after I hit the gym really hard, I dont' have much energy afterwards. I'm usually dead tired. The only times when I do have extra energy afterwards is when I take Xenadrine during workouts. That makes me wired afterwards.

Are you taking anything before or during your workouts?
 
I can't sleep for shit at anytime but It sucks when you start thinking about how you can't sleep and then you work your self up and can't fall asleep because you worked yourself up about it.

you need to learn how to self hypnotize or meditate. I'm sure there's lots of sources of info on the net about that. Those methods will help you sleep much easier.

i work out at about 7 to 8:30 in the evening during the week. mornings on the wkend. i realize that working out so late might be contributing to the problem too. i get myself all wound up just a few hours before bed.....no pun intended;)

i take hydroxycutt but only four a day and i don't take it after 3pm. otherwise i doubt i would get any sleep! :)
 
"G"...

i know all about this stuff...what it was intenionally produced for and how it was/is abused. been there...done it. not really interested in anything that strong right now really. although, any other suggestions of products or ANYTHING for that matter would be appreciated! :D

oh...and tried counting sheep already...someone lied to me because that doesn't work!!! *stomping foot*
