i need some help! i have married now for 6 months and have started putting on the "comfortable" weight and would really like to slim back down and tone up. problem is i have to fit all this in to working 40 plus hours a week, being able to spend time with hubby, and still have energy to function. currently i am:

female
23 yrs old
asthmatic
166lbs.
5'6"
to afraid to check my bf%

naturally i do carry more muscle than the average female. . .anyone have any suggestions for good basic diet (can't do anything hard core because of work schedule), workout routine, and possible suppliments.

any ideas are welcomed. thanks!

Annabelle,

Don't be afraid to check your BF. I didn't realize how bad I was until I had it checked for the first time. That's what brought me to EF. I was training for a 10K and I knew my weight was too high and I was working to get it down. But when that little machine said 34%, I was nearly passed out. It slapped me back to reality.

I recommend checking out the Women's Forum. Miss24K, Bunny & Sassy69 are extremely helpful. Review some of the logs for tips on how to create the right diet. I followed the bodyweight X10 - X12 w/ regard to calories and created a diet that had 5-6 meals per day (macros: P/C/F 40/30/30). What do you mean by "can't do anything hardcore"? I brought my meals with me to work and when I had class I ate a bar or had a shake. If you are referring to "extremely clean", my diet at first was just semi-clean. I just wanted to eat healthy and focused on the macros & my blood sugar issues. I worked out in the morning, so I could have time to spend my time with friends, studying or just relax. I found that my day is more productive when I work out in the morning (6 days per week). My first workout training session (8 weeks), was very basic. Shadow created a training program that a lot of the ladies had success with. Its in one of the Sticky's in the Women's forum if you need a plan.

Also, for the first 4 months, I didn't add supps. I'm back to training again and I'm going supp free (fat burners). If I see the results I want . . . I will finish this training session fat burner free.

Oh, rest is extremely important.
