Totally not fitness-related. Anyone live in San Francisco?

i'm visiting SF next weekend for 3 days, staying in Union Square. Just wondering if anyone is familiar with the area and can recommend any MUST SEES (shopping, sites, eats, etc.)

thanks :)

Cool! You'll have a fabulous time, I'm sure. :)

Definitely visit the Museum of Modern Art--when I was there a couple of years ago, a huge Yoko Ono exhibit was on display. It was incredible. The Palace of the Legion of Honor by Golden Gate Park is rather remarkable as well. Inside of Golden Gate Park is a lovely Japanese tea garden, which is well worth the time. If you have a chance and a car, drive north to Muir Woods and check out the redwood forest. The view of the Bay from that angle is breathtaking. I didn't do much shopping, as it is much too expensive. My favorite restaurant was this little hole in the wall in the Haight-Ashberry district. I can't even remember the name of it now, but it was the best Asian food ever and at very reasonable price. In any case, enjoy your stay! I love San Francisco!!
