Torture excercises: What do you do?

no, you're a masochist. 'Hard core' is when you're willing to endure pain TO ACHIEVE A GOAL. Masochism is when pain IS the goal.
If I had to choose then I'd say I'm more 'hard core.' Goals are very importent to me, more so then 'just' pain.
 
ok cool :) from what you said earlier in the thread it sounded like you enjoyed the pain for its own sake, or enjoyed punishing or 'testing' yourself for its own sake, which would be masochistic (not a bad thing it's just what the word means). but you know yourself better than me :)
 
I would have to say 20 reps squats or doing walking lunges across a gym back and forth until u fail for weight lifting. Both of these get your heart rate up and involve a ton of muscles. The worst Ive ever felt though was during a track workout running 8 x 400 meter sprints and each one had to be within a certain time of each other. I thought I was going to die from about the 3rd one on.
