throwing up

anyone in here throw up during any excercises?
I almost threw up on my second set of squats yesterday
and i stopped in the middle. Next time I'm gonna
bring a trash can over to make sure I don't ruin anything.
anyone barf during excercises?

I've also got nauseous while doing heavy squatting.

Its common with that exersice, I've only once actually vomited while doing around 25 sets of them, vomited around set 20, took a two min break and finshed 5 more.

i have only thrown up once from running......... never any type of weight training

you may be just pushing the heck out of yourself or you may have eat without enough time to digest.

throwing up is usualy a sign of badly timed meals, or shitty food before a work out.......not a sign of manhood like many will suggest.

also try and regulate your breathing and water intake (not too much.....that causes me to wretch when training)

Throwing Up

It could be many things. Foods (the types you eat before training, timing) and it could be from doing the exercise successfully. I know some people that push their bodies so far to the limit that it causes them to throw up. Only on squats though.

When lifting the blood leaves your digestive system and shoots to the muscles...that mixed with the lack of oxygen during squats is more than enough to puke. Ive never actually puked but ive came close

Lifting weights causes a temporary increase in blood pressure, and holding your breath is a sure way to make it increase even more during exercise. Although many people argue over whether or not you should exhale on the exertion or not, the most important thing to remember is to keep it controlled. Either breath out on the exertion, or breath in, but maintain that pace throughout your set. Not properly controlling breathing has caused many people to get nauseous or even throw up during intense training. It is possible to even pass out, depending on the circumstances. keep your breathing controlled, stay hydrated, and don't squat if you are full, it should help prevent throwing up, but its not always a guarantee.
