Alright people here is my addition to motivation. I just found out that in March I worked 312 hours. That doesn't include the time I was sitting in a motel in various parts of North America. That is an average of over 10 hours per day every day of the month no time off. I still found time to make it to the gym part time and keep my strength up fairly well.

My point is this if there is a will there is a way.

nice man, thats a shitload of hours, average would be like 160 hours a month, and most people like that are fat lazy slobs. im impressed :D

its the recovery, all the eating and sleeping, that takes the most dedication.

I am sure there were a few days when your body was begging for rest but you plowed through a training session instead

Let me just say...I posted this under the "workout while sick?" thread also, but I just wanted to reiterate it. Last semester I had chronic fatigue, persistent flu-like symptoms. I would sleep at night for 8-12 hours, then wake up and go sleep in all my classes. During that time I still managed to make it to the gym consistently and add 10-12 pounds of LBM. I later found out that I'd had mono for almost the entire semester. It was kinda cool to know that I'd overcome some adversity.

me too!

I don't sleep enough (usually 4-5 hours, if that) :eek2: and eat too much!:chomp:

I've been tracking my calories again and recently bought a new bed. Waiting to "test" it out!:D
 
Brother, thats a shit load of hours! Thats amazing that you find time for anything other than sleep! To see that you still find time to tear it up, is a true inspiration.
 
I have only slept 4-5 hours per night since I was about 15. I figure if you can't sleep eat, so I eat and eat......

A great point to make. I'm amazed you have time to make it though :D

If I were that busy, training would be the one thing that I couldn't let slip. It keeps me sane.
 
Recently I finished a two year stretch where I worked 70-80 hours per week, with no time off at all, also not including travel time, which was 45-60 minutes each way. Despite all this I never missed a scheduled workout and continued to make progress all the way through
Its all about how bad you want it!!!!
