Sweet Jesus! I've done it!

Ok, I'm not too sure if many of you are familiar with my umm.. shoulder health... but anyways...
For the last two years I've had a deadly shoulder problem(not literally deadly) which caused me massive pain if I BB benched anything over 135... I'm currently 21, and when I was 19, I was repping around 225.

Anyways, after going to a half dozen different people(4 physio therapists, 1 sport med doctor, 1 GP, and 1 chiropractor), I've found two guys who have done wonders for me. They both have very immpressive physiques. One is 5'11 215 ripped, and the other 6' 240 very lean. The first is a Chiropractor and the other is a deep tissue masseuse. They work out of the same office. These were the first two guys who didn't sit there and critique me for wanting to continue... big props for that.

After 2 years of struggling these guys were the first two to diagnose my problems correctly. It turns out I had some scapulatory problems(already new.. but couldn't fix), massive scar tissue build up on my right bicep tendon, and my right serratus was extremely tight. These are some of the problems I had amongst a couple subluxation problems in my spine. I have been getting chiropratic treatment 3 times a week for all of september, then 2 times a week so far throughout october. So far I've had 4 deep tissue massages. (1 time a week, I benched earlier today prior to my fourth)

Anyways, the bicep tendon issues were causing me such huge pain when I BB Benched that I had completely given in up and replaced it with dumbell bench, which has still allowed me to pack on quite a bit of chest muscle.

Anyways, today I went into the gym, and decided to pass on the dumbells (I usually vary between 90-100 lbs dumbells). I went straight to the bench press station, and warmed up with the bar...
Wow.... no awkward feelings in my shoulder, so I tossed a quarter on either side...
Wow, still 100% comfortable...
So I took the quarters off, and tossed a 45 on each side...
Up and down no problem, for a good 15 reps...
OK.. so this is the real kicker...
I went up to 155... Still Perfect...
So I went up to 165.... Amazing, this would have made me fucking cringe in pain just thinking of doing this for the last 2 years... perfect...
So I went up another 10 lbs to 175... 10 solid clean reps...
I couldn't believe it.. no pain... I talked to my Maseuse today and he said don't go up more than 20 lbs a week... but damn.. I just had to share this success story...

I have been forced to believe my shoulder was a write off for the last two years, and all it took was 1 and a half months of deep tissue massage and chiropractic work...

So far all you people who think their shoulder is a right off... Don't listen to your doctor! Go find a deep tissue masseuse who can break down scar tissue... find somebody who has a lot of experience with body builders, and powerlifters.. they will be able to help you ALOT more than somebody who questions why we do things.

If anybody is in BC, Canada and would like me to refer them, PM me... I stand behind these guys 110%... I always thought my rotator cuff was fucked when all along it was other things... chances are there are a lot of mis-diagnosed problematic shoulders on this board..

By the way, I met my Chiropractor in my gym, by complete fluke.. must have been in the cards that my shoulder would recover...

Sorry for going on and on
315 lbs Bench press, here I come...

Thanks guys!
I think I should be able to nail 315 easily by this summer... as long as I don't hit any more speed bumps... my girlfriend of 2 years and I just broke up though... so I have to stop bulking and cut for a little while so I can get rid of my recently aquired double chin (for some reason my face is one of the first places i store blubber)... I need to meet some new females :)
