If your doing a race, why aren't you running? I have some buddies that did one of those, they had fun. Good luck.

because running 6 minute miles does me no good if i have to wait for the other 3 people in the team..

Day 4 and it's been brutal, but i'm back to being able to do 310lbs x 300 reps in leg press

on static lift events, i pressed 360 for a static hold, not my biggest but again, its 2x day training..

Cardio is as expected, I'll pass the 30min on the stair trainer this week which was the goal..

wife's lifts are up 30%, and she leg pressed 410x1 today.. good times..

any updates bro? how has this been treating you in terms of work? Im looking to change up my routine and gear it more towards the job so Im curious about something like this and what other brothers are doing in general

it's for sure I can't do 2x day x5 without aas...

The training was designed for a Titan Run (mudder run) that i did last week.. training was great, need more live road work to condition the ankles for sure..

I think it can be accomplished if doing 2x day x3 days per week, but if conditioning is the plan, it didn't work out for me..

You can do 2x day training naturally. I've been doing it for a year now. It gives you a sick edge. What's most important is that you fuel the fuck up with all the nutrients you need between workouts.

I used to run 8-10 miles than lift for 1.5 - 2 hours. For a while it absolutely drained me, but the key was ramping up my diet. Also, it lead to a stress fracture in my ankle, lol. It's tough though man, just make sure you recover properly

alot harder to do when your a firefighter, thats why I was curious how another FF managed and was still able to function on the job.

at age 51... i can do 2x days but the benefits are not what I'm looking for.. strength/endurance is what's needed..

so 4x week it still the magic number for growth and recovery..

I'll be starting a cycle soon, body recomp so that will take me through christmas.. good times, just in time for vacation time..
