I broke my arm a few months ago, I still can not use a bar for any type bench. The angle kills my hand. Dumbbells are fine. I am a solo lifter no partner. Do you think it would be worth my while to try and still do DC. It would be real hard with out a partner using bells with all the streching etc.. Anyone have any ideas?

im in the same boat i want to (and im going to) try DC although i don't have a partner to train with the only thing that bothers me is not having a spotter for bench, as far as db's i can't see why not but im no expert on the subject. i don't see how they would hold u back. work on your arm and you should be back to using a long bar in a month or two.

DC is the shit I would recommend it to anyone. Just get healthy and then get after it in the gym

I tried DC. I liked the workouts... but I found it impossible to keep the schedule... and not having a training partner made it tougher.

DC may be a good workout... but it isn't as forgiving as other training systems.

I don't understand this. You work 3 days a week, instead of 4 or 5 like most other training splits. Why is this harder to keep?

Im in the gym less time and Im seeing better results. ill admit having a partner definitely makes it easier but I have done the leg day by myself and still gone up in weight reps. It is a tough workout but I recover by the next time and I think the stretches are a main part of it.
