Hey guys, i was looking for a post a while back to read up on it. It was about sex before the gym lowers test levels.

Well This weekend, woke up on sat went to the gym had a good cardio session, not tired anything. Sat night this girl comes over and stays the night. We got it on Sat night couple times and when i woke up on Sunday i needed a little "extra" to get my day going. lol. Well after the monring sex i was all energized and shit, not feeling tired or anything, went to the gym to hit my chest up because i missed a workout during the week because of the soreness in my arms so i figured i would go hard when my tric/bic feel better. Well Im at the gym, still not feeling tired or anything, infact im preety eager to get to the gym.

At the gym i could hardly do anyweight that i usually do, but i did make sure i went to failure each set like i always do. I didnt realize why i couldnt do it untill i rememberd the test levels drop after sex and i had alot of sex in that night/morning so i was laughing and i wasnt upset withmyself at all. LOL after all arenet we all here working out to get LAID? But damn, i really didnt think it affected your strenght that dramaticlly lol, and i always thought my coach was bullshitting when he said dont jerk off before games lol. Ahhh inspirations lol.

Just thought i would share that with you all and shit next time your tired at the gym just tell em you got laid before you workd out lol.

In general, sex can only help your testosterone levels -- more specifically "strong sexual stimulation" helps.

There can be for some people (me, for example) a 1-2 hour period where your increased endorphins and overall relaxation from having sex can lower your drive in the gym. If it's more than a 2 (or so) hour effect, then you are probably just suffering from less sleep/food from a night of good sex.
 
Perhaps I'm terribly misled...

I was under the assumption that test helps in the repairing/building of muscle, and that the muscles actually did the lifting of the weights... not the test.

My guess:

Those endorphines released during your sexual fiasco made you feel on top of the world, like you could take on anything, and masked the fact that you were tired as hell from a long night/morning of sex. You got to the gym and realized you were damn tired.

But hey... what do I know? I'm headin' back to the couch.
