Protein Supplementation Problem

For a long time I have relied on food as my main protein source, but do to time restraints, I am now looking for a good protein shake. Most of the ones that I have seen are either outrageously expensive or don't have enough protein content. Do you guys know of an affordable shake that has about 50 grams of protein per serving. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Optimum Nutrition 100% whey protein, 10lbs goes for $44.00 at nutritionmegastore.com .

If you do not want whey, or want a combination of protein then Proteinfactory.com has more variety at good prices.

First of all, don't worry about the amount of protein per serving. The only difference between Isopure (50g) and Optimum (21g) is the fact that Isopure has a bigger scoop! I know... I know... Optimum is WPC, and Isopure is WPI, but that isn't my point.

Anyhow, you might want to try PerfectRx by Nature's Best (the same company that makes Isopure). It runs about $22.00 for a box of 20 packets. Each packet contains about 40g of protein. It's a little more expensive than Optimum's Jug-O'-Whey, but it is a blend rather than straight WPC. This makes for a better MRP. I only recommend straight whey as a post-workout and first-thing-in-the-morning protein source (times when you need aminos fast.

Ive just tried the Dorian Yates approved line of products...Its a mixture of egg, casein, and whey and it has pro biotics like bifidus and acidophilus and to help with digestive enzymes. The taste is great and not to expensive...considering what you get in the products. Ive tried the protein and the MRP. It also contains pre biotics which is basically the food for the enzymes.
