Bullshit, kinesiology majors learn jack shit and are some of the worst trainers in the world. Two of my trainers at my gym are kin majors and they look like fucking jokes with clients. You need to learn from experienced trainers, not educated doctors and PHD fucks. I am going to med school and I will garuntee they wont know jack about training. You need to study and apply everything. You need to sell yourself, both looks and brains. What I did is shadowed and trained with a strength coach who:
a. was personally a weight lifting champion
b. had an education in kinesiology, respiration therapy, and physical therapy
c. worked with collegiate athletes
d. worked on rehab patients

I learned more from him then any class or book could ever teach. Just like doctors need residency training. P.T. need hands on training with someone who knows what they are doing.

I personally like ISSA: I have a CFT and Nutrition certification through them. But don't stop at certificates!!!! Find a true teacher you can follow, even if you have to shell out some money.
