Question: When you are figuring ratios for diet, is your 45% protein measure by the calories or the grams? I get different figures both ways, just want to make sure I don't throw everything off.

Calories per gram:
fat = 9
carb = 4
pro = 4
Shooting for 1 gr of P for every lb = 504 cals = 40%
so - 45 % is 567 cals & 142 gr. P
Carbs should be about 25%
so 79 gr. Carbs = 315 cals
Fat should be about 30%
so 42 gr. fat = 378 cals
Does that look good to follow?
