Organic Eggs?!

These are basically free-range chickens who eat a vegetarian diet. The results are eggs with 100-600!mg Omega-3 as well as a 25% reduction in saturated fat, and 25% of daily allowance of Vitamin E.

I just picked these up at the store yesterday (kinda pricey) just wondered if anyone else uses these or thinks they're a good idea.

Funny, I just bought some this morning. They cost me $5 Canadian. Almost double the price of regular eggs but I think it is worth it.

I am begging you to tell me you dont throw out the yolks...

please.. .tell me you arent spending all that money on the EXACT same Albumin that ALL eggs have regardless of the chickens diet...

;)

It's much cheaper to buy regular (dirt cheap) eggs and fish oil caps and you'll get more EPA/DHA

When the label reads organic, it means that no antibiotics or medication were added to the Chicken feed, and that the chickens are ''free run''.

Regular eggs come from chickens that are packed into small cages with virtually no room to move, and have been fed food that is non-organic.

So basically it’s the organic chicken feed that allows the eggs to be labeled organic.
