I dont agree at all that *most* will have some kind of physical limitation. Most people are just too fucking lazy, wanna lose some fat and get in shape.
Do you ever think the people I get will want to know about bodybuilding because I probably look and lift like one? You dont so why would anyone ask you?
I wasn't expressing an opinion. I was stating FACTS that were based on my REAL LIFE experience as a personal trainer. Have you seen any of MY PICS?
www.bikinemu.com take a look and let me know who would have asked for my help as a certified personal trainer. (I used to LOVE to do free sessions with the *know-it-all* juiceheads. By 15 minutes in they would ALL BE WHINING like little girls.
)
As I said before MOST of my clients were mid 40's and up. I don't know of very many people that have reached middle age without having developed some sort of physical limitation, MYSELF INCLUDED.
Lucky thing for my husband he married a personal trainer.
Both of his shoulders are blown from all of the INCORRECT training he was told to do in his teens by his coach on top being a competitive swimmer and ocean life guard. He had the same knee damaged twice in Vietnam, also caught a bullet in his back and one in his bicep. Though he remained active for as long as he could by the time I met him he was fairly overweight with lifelong high blood pressure and recently developed a cholesterol issue. Thanks to him FINALLY listening to his "bitch nag of a wife" he has dropped a significant amount of bodyfat and has
NORMAL CHOLESTEROL AND NORMAL BLOOD PRESSURE WITHOUT MEDICATION. He just turned 58.
^^^I am trying to give you an indication of who your "typical PAYING client" will be IF you seriously decide to pursue this line of work.
Unless you REALLY REALLY WANT to help people for not enough pay then I suggest you think about pursuing another profession.
It is NOT easy and maybe 1% of your clients will be kyoot, bored, hausfraus whose hubby's have fat wallets.
Go to bartending school. Based on what I've seen you post you will probably do fairly well, especially in a gay bar/club. (THAT IS NOT A SLIGHT.) Also based on what I've seen you post you will most likely starve as a personal trainer. (ALSO NOT A SLIGHT.)
