Okie, Springfield crews...bench shirt question

Hey guys,

You all know I've got that Titan Fury that I've had for almost a year now. I still don't feel comfortable in it, and it's too big. I just can't get the hang of using it. Admittedly, I'm still working on my bench form, but I think learning this shirt may be harder than an open back.

I'd love to try an open back denim of some variety before I order one, just to see how it feels, but Hannibal's is obviously way too big.

Any of you have an old, smaller bench shirt you could bring with you some time?

This is not a knock at all, so don't take it that way...but I guarantee you that if Spatts cuts her shirt you will be able to get it on and bench in it.

I'm so sure of it, that next time I'm up, I'll put it on and bench in it. That will prove that everyone is wearing their bench shirt too loose.

ps - I'll write more on this later.

I dunno man...she cut it last night, I made a very brief attempt to put it on, and it would not go up my arms.

You could very well be right, but she's a little smaller than I am, and it might work out to be too much shirt if I did get it on, so I don't know that it would be a good test.

Well, Hannibal/ Chris' old one won't go past my forearms at all, but I just have Dave yank on them over and over until it gets up there.

You may be right. But I would do everything I could to get that shirt on.

Yo Project, down here in Springfeild we have a pretty small open back shirt. I'm sure it's bigger than Spatts shirt but not huge. I think it would work for you if you wanted to try it out. It's not mine so I can't bring it home for the summer. You might have to wait till Gene and AM come back to KC for a bench day.

Have you guys tried the shirt now that it's cut? Let me know how that goes. Talk to you later.

Project,

How much are you weighing now? I'm about 232 and Hannibal's old shirt is apparently just the right size for that weight. If you want to give it a shot, we'll plan a trip to help dg21 move back or something, and we'll have a ME bench day in KC. I'll bring it up and you can see how it feels.

I'm a little under 200, so I'm guessing Hannibal's old shirt is still a little big for me, but hell, I'll give it a shot.

dg21, if you can bring up that other shirt for some testing, I'd appreciate it.

We haven't tested spatts' shirt since it's been cut.

I will see if I can find "Old Red" for you. It might be too big, still, but it could work.

B.

I wonder if that Red Inzer I gave you would work for him now? Don't know if that is the Red that you speak of or not.

Project, I talked to the guys today and the shirt I was talking about is Hannibal's old one. I still think you may get something out of it if you really pull it down. You could just gain 20-30lbs and you'd be good to go. I'll talk to yo later.
