Was looking around my grocer's aisle for food high in fat and low in protein that would hit my CKD ratios for a semi transportable food.
I found braetensweiner or whatever the hell the spelling is (pork liver). Comes in the little clear plastic sausage bags.
It is 17.5 grams of fat and 8 grams of protein per serving and 1 gram of carbs. Less than 1 gram per serving is from sugar.
It contains dextrose and corn syrup, but those are the latter ingrediants and like I said only 1 gram of carbs and less than 1 gram of sugars.
Sound like a solid ckd food?
