Need some advice on planned overtraining session

I'm going to be travelling around Europe for a week and I'm leaving tomorrow. I'm getting of a mild steriod cycle but the stuff will still be working in my body while I'm on the road.
So I was thinking if I couldn't somehow reap the benifits of all that resting by doing a grueling workout tonight, a workout that would take me around 3 hours to complete (yeah, like when you start to train and get addicted kind of ;).
Nothing overly scientific, just warmpup, bench, biceps, drink gatorate and eat protein, 20 min on the eclipse machine, deadlift, cable crossovers, shoulders, another 15 min on the eclipse, another gatorate, dips and tricep extensions.

That oughta make me grow some?
Ofcourse the diet will stay as clean as possible, but I'm hoping this will stress my body enough so it'll be recovering those few days.

Another thing, I have only be training with high intensity for 6 weeks, if it would have been 8-9 weeks I might have just thought about having a nice time and allow my body to recuparate, but that's not an option as of now.

sugar ingestion during workouts will produce insulin which in turn will sweep up blood sugar giving you less energy and power via muscular attraction while lifting NOT A GOOD IDEA.

why are you doing cardio in between?
I'd say just superset chest and back, and incorporate some deadlifts into the workout.

Well I had to get some energy just to be able to complete my workout, just came back, twas a great workout.
If I hadn't eaten in the workout (actually it was only a myoplex hp shake) I wouln't have managed the level of intensity in the second part of the workout.
Insulin kicked in, energy went straight to the muscles, did not feel less energic, but much more energic.

I did the cardio to warm up enough for the intended intensity level and I did it again to re-warmup after the small pause.

Btw, nice to see someone qoute the littany against fear.
The Dune series is the greatest piece of fiction I've ever come accross, and Frank Herbert was one genius of a man.

cool!

I'm half-way through "God Emperor of Dune" the fourth book, it's pretty intense!
good luck on your trip ;)
