Alright guys, i really love weightlifting, and the feeling of accomplishment afterwards and watching myself make gains. So I was wondering if I could implement weight training in with my sports? In the fall I play football, winter, my school has boxing, and then track. I can definitaly workout on the weekends, and practice ends for each sport at 6PM. Im thinking of buying myself some dumbells just so I could lift at home?

Im dropping soccer in the fall and instead I am going to bulk for rugby in the winter. THats what im doing. To make gains is going to be hard, as youll need to seriously up your cals. Not recommended really - as practice is what, 4x a week?

It is going to be difficult for you to make gains while you ae doing so many sports. If you lift really intensly, in season you really run the risk of opening yourself up for injury. Most individuals when competing activly in sports train 2 maaybe 3 times per week and that is only maintenace work, so they don't lose strength. I don't mean to sound negative, but that is what I experienced in high school and college.

i will be taking track and cross sountry this year but might skip out on soccer.... soccer games are usually until 8pm... i would get home at around 9 and have what... 2 hours to go to the gym and go homework... thats insane.
