Need help with eating!!

hey guys, this may sounsd rather simple but i was just looking for some insight into how much i should be eating. I'm looking to gain weight, but not necessarily body fat. Right now im 6'2", 165 pounds. My current meals are similar to this:
Breakfast - 4 eggs, milk (sometimes cereal instead or eggs)
Snack - PBJ sandwich
lunch - turkey breast, cottage cheese
snack - cottage cheese
workout
protein shake
Dinner - steak or chicken or fish, veggies
another high protein snack
then a protein shake and off to bed for a solid 10 hours
Is this too much??? the right stuff? i just recently started working out (2 months ago) and i have put on a lot of muscle, but i believe i have put on some fat to go along with it. Any feedback is much appreciated!

I'm no expert, but i'd say you are somewhat of a hard gainer so you may want to try....

I would say bump up to 6 eggs w/around 50 grams high quality carbs such as oatmeal don't be afraid of carbs in the morning...

If you don't have eggs, substitute 1.5 serving protein shake

Add a glass of milk or protein shake to your sandwich..... or try turkey/chicken breast sandwich w/cheese

have some fresh fruit w/your cottage cheese snack

as for workout, you could greatly benefit from the addition of 60-100 grams of high glycemic carbs such as maltodextrin, grape juice, or what not....these will help you with a much needed insulin spike for the protein injection.

You also may want to try a slower burning protein right before bed, instead of whey such as cottage cheese, this will ensure less nighttime catabolism.

my 2 cents

best advice i can give you is to start reading labels for all the nutrients.

figure out your resting metabolic rate.

figure out your bodyfat.

DO RESEARCH DUDE.

no quick answers. believe me on that one.
