My forearms are killing me...help!

i had the same problem for almost a year. i heard of this thing called "Rolfing". its very intense, painful massage therapy. i decided to give it a try and it worked wonders. the rolfer did my back and the whole right side of my body. it gets very deep into the muscle tissue and removes knots and any pain associated w/ intertwined fibers.. which causes the pain we know as "splints". look for a certified rolfer in your area and give it a try. one session is about $100.

peace,
ragin'

Order 1000g of glucosamine from kilosports.com and use like 4-6 grams per day (Not sure of sides of this but suspect none) ... really helped me out.

i had this when I first started doing dumbell curls, hurt like a bitch a very sour pain up all in my arms, took months to heal up. Only time heals this in my case.

Wow! I didn't know this was so comon amongst Body Builders. I got them doing curls with barbell also. I talked to a chiropracter friend of mine and he said to stay away from using the barbell for curling because it's a very unnaturl movement for the arm with that kind of weight. He said stick to dumberlls. Shinsplits is when the muscle is ripping away from the bone. I read that some excersises actual help it from happening when you get them around your shins (toe raises when a plate) I wonder if working out the forearm (doing some reverse forearms curls) would help strengthen it?

The funny thing is that I have to let go of the bars so slow at the end because that's when it hurts the most. I see other do the same> ;)

I think I strained my outside forearm from curling and it's affecting all my workouts. No matter what movement it gets real tight and kills my grip. What do you guys recommend to hill this injury faster?

no more barbell, use dumbell, no more cheat curls

Forearms are important to train. If you dont train both ways, it is the same thing as getting a shin spling. IF you do forearm curls, you should train them the opposite way. For instance, take a piece of wood, hang a rope and attach a ten pound weight to the rope. This will train the other muscles opposite the forearm. Same thing with calves. Do toe raises with the 45 pound bar to train the muscle on the other side so you dont get shin splints. Hope that helps.

I am not sure about the resting thing.

I get them every time I am on high androgens. I take 3 advil 3 times a day and work through it.

I never could get myself to rest during a cycle.

nautica

btw - A-50 is the worst for causing this.

Yeh, I don't know about resting shit either. I've worked out through broken fingers before. Nothing will stop me from working out. I think you just have to strenghten the forearms muscles both ways just like the shin and calf muscles. and stay away from barbell curls. I'll let you guys know if it works for me in the next few weeks.

Metal-Trenbelone is unsurpassed as an anti-gluccocorticoid agent. While this has some extremely positive benefits,it can also cause problems.Severely depressing cortisol can lead to a suppression in synovial fluid output, which in turn leads to very achy joints. If the problem persists, you might want to back off slightly on the tren dosage and see what happens,or toss a small amount of deca in there(as deca seems to impart cortisol-like effects in the joints, likely through catalyzing synovial fluid excretion).
