My First Test Shot!

Discreet User

New member
I just pinned my first ever Test shot!

It was completely painless!

I was nervous and almost backed down at the last second, then I just thought about all the good advice I've gotten from you bros. I pushed the needle in, aspirated, pushed in the cypionate and out the needle came!

What a great feeling to finally have done that! I put it off for a long time and now I see that it's really no big deal.

So now an issue that arose along the way, I could not get 2ml into the syringe. I'm using 25 gauge 1 1/2 inch. I pulled in 2ml of air, stuck it in the vial, pushed in the air, and then after taking forever I just decided to pin 1ml for this first time. Did I do something wrong? Why was it so difficult to get the cypionate into the syringe?

Next thing, when I aspirated, once deep inside the muscle, two little bubbles came into the syringe. Is this ok? I am sure there was no air in the syringe before I pinned, because I squirted a drop of cyp out before injecting.

Thanks in advance for your replies bros. If it wasn't for this forum I would not have felt comfortable doing IM injections for myself.

I've only got a couple cycles under my belt so far and I've never pinned more than 1.5ml at a time, but then I do alot of upper body shots like delts and pecs.

Before drawing the oil from the vial you want to pull back about as much on the syringe as you plan on withdrawing before putting the needle into the vial. Then push the air into the vial and then start withdrawing the oil. This creates pressure in your typical 10ml vial that helps to get it out.

2 little bubbles aren't going to hurt you. Tap the bubs to the top and then let some oil run down the needle. If you get some air when aspirating don't worry about it.

Grats on your first pin.

Thanks bro.
I'm excited for this test to really kick in later this cycle so I can grow like never before!

I never put air in the vial....
bad idea to load the vial with outside air...its like taking the lid off and letting your sterile vial sit open..i never did get why people did that...using amps is risky enough because of the exposure

If you dont put air into the vial to replace the space that is withdrawn then you have created a suction inside the vial. Ever notice oil on the stopper the next time you go to pin and you can swear you didnt spill any? its the vial sucking in outside air to replace what is lost.

Trust me even with Human Grade gear the air in the vial is not sterile.

never have i put air in my vials in 7 years...def wont start now..i like to leave whats in the vial in the vial,
i was meaning breaking amp tops off for the human grade

Because you are using a 25guage needle, get some 21's and it will load quickly.

I was thinking that might be the case.

So it just takes longer with a 25 gauge?

When I tried to draw the cyp it was like there was no air in the vial and the plunger just wanted to return back to 0.

i draw with 20 gauges only and inject with 25 gauge only...no problems here with drawing ever

Yes, the smaller the needle the slower the draw. With 23ga it's reasonable, 25 and up and it can take a while. Drawing oil with a 29ga insulin syringe is a pain.

Regarding drawing in air prior to sticking the needle in the vial: this is the common medical practice. If you don't feel the need to do this, then don't - but there's no need to be overly concerned about airborne particulate, unless you're shooting up in a grass seed warehouse or something.
