Ok im sure were all in search of new meals, and although mine is very basic, and im sure many of you have already tried doing this i thought i would share it anyway. This is my favorie meal to eat when trying to cut carbs and lose bodyfat. What is so great about it is that i can eat it for weeks on end without getting tired of it.
i always make a big pot of it and then eat off of it for a few days, it tastes just as good warmed up.
Ingrediients: Put in Large Pan
8 1/4 lb turkey burgers (wal-mart, savory blend)
1/4 medium onion (diced into small pieces)
1/2 brocolli stem (diced into small pieces)
1/4 Bell pepper (diced into small pieces)
i always add the veg. first and let them cook for about 5 minutes before adding the meat as i dont like crunchy veg., and it doesnt take long for the meat to brown. After the meat is browned, drain, put back in original pan, add a teaspoon garlic salt and cayenne pepper (my favorite)
Your done! you have ~170 g protein, and less then 20 g carbs in the whole meal. To cut carbs even more use less onions and only use the stock of the brocolli, as most of the carbs are in the top!
i usually eat this for at least three different meals, maybe more depending on my weight!
Hope you guys enjoy it!
